A national law firm is hiring a Business Litigation Attorney for its Columbia, SC office. We seek someone with a few years of business litigation experience. This role allows you to grow within a small team while enjoying the resources of a large firm. It’s an excellent opportunity to find a mentor and enhance your skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage litigation from start to trial.
  • Develop case strategies and advise clients.
  • Draft and file court documents.
  • Guide clients through the process and work with expert witnesses.
  • Attend depositions and court appearances.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and the team.
  • Complete other tasks as needed.

Minimum and Additional Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school and active South Carolina Bar membership.
  • 1-2 years of attorney experience.
  • Preferred: Corporate litigation and business transaction experience.
  • Detail-oriented team player and self-starter.
  • Strong communication, research, and analytical skills.
  • Able to draft legal documents.
  • Knowledge of legal procedures.
  • Travel and longer hours may be needed.
  • Must work in the office.
