CLA is actively searching for an experienced Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst to join a national law firm located in the Columbia, SC area. This role is responsible for auditing human resources data to preserve its integrity and accuracy. Along with this, the HRIS analyst must manage the recordkeeping technological aspects and management of databases. This role also requires the ideal candidate to have excellent troubleshooting skills to provide technical support in both researching and resolving HRMS problems.

Sample Responsibilities:

  • Use information technology skills to manage human resources data and ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Ensuring all stored data’s accuracy, completeness, and compliance including regularly auditing data entries for errors or inconsistencies to promote accuracy and integrity
  • Perform statistical analysis on data including aggregating data, analyzing metrics, tracking management analytics and trends
  • Develop and be responsible for standard and ad hoc reports
  • Research and develop resolutions to problems or flaws in processes
  • Implementing process improvements
  • Responsible for special projects and providing support to members of the management team
  • Act as point of contact with a diverse group of timekeepers, supervisors, co-workers, and other staff members
  • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting
  • Technical projects including overseeing software upgrades and integrations
  • Responsible for back-end system configurations and interface management

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Excel
  • Excel certification preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Possess strong analytical skills coupled with acute attention to detail
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, HR management, business administration, or similar is preferred
  • Experience in analyzing HRIS and HR performance metrics
  • Advanced proficiency in database management and security
  • Proficiency in HRM software such as SAP, Oracle, Workday or Ceridian Dayforce
  • Experience in documenting processes, as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits
  • Comfortable with programming languages and proficiency with data analytics
  • Certifications including Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) are helpful
