Carolina Legal Associates
CLA has an immediate need for experienced legal administrative assistants to join a well-established and fast-paced law firm located in the Charleston, SC area. This position will provide receptionist coverage and assist attorneys and paralegals with administrative duties.
Sample Responsibilities:
- Answer phones, greet clients, intake, process mail, including scanning into the firm’s case management system
- Copies, scans and files documents
- Prepare letters to clients for case rejection, closing etc.
- Arrange for depositions and meetings
- Assisting the paralegals and attorneys with correspondence and other administrative duties as assigned
Minimum and Additional Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a law firm
- High school diploma is required but an associate’s degree or higher is preferred
- Able to handle sensitive material with discretion
- Excellent word processing skills and knowledge of the MS Office suite
- A professional demeanor is required
