CLA is hiring a Case Manager for a boutique Plaintiffs’ Personal Injury law firm in Columbia, SC.

Sample Responsibilities

  • First and main point of contact for individual clients in your caseload requiring a customer-centered focus of attention that will help guide them through the litigation process
  • Responsible for keeping the client informed on the progress of the case and tracking the treatment plans for each client
  • Answer basic questions from the clients or pass on legal questions to a firm attorney
  • Review, organize, and summarize case materials.
  • Conduct legal research and investigations as needed and directed.
  • Responsible for docketing, calendaring, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents in State and Federal Court.
  • Ensure proper documents are obtained and entered into case management software
  • Ensure the case is progressing forward in a timely manner

Minimum and Additional Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
  • Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows, and other legal software
  • Proficiency in CM/ECF Filing
  • Detail oriented
  • Great Personality and ability to talk to clients during a challenging time in their lives
  • Able to have frequent and effective interactions with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies

Competitive pay rate based on experience and qualifications. Potential to earn bonuses based on performance.
