This isn’t just about processing papers; you’ll be the backbone of our legal team and a guiding light for our clients. You will:
- Master Case Management: Own Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury cases from the initial client meeting through resolution and disbursement.
- Navigate Clients: Guide clients with empathy and clarity through every step of their legal journey.
- Organize Digitally: Expertly organize and maintain documents in our electronic filing system. Neos experience is a plus!
- Defend Deadlines: Stay meticulously on top of crucial filing deadlines, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
- Gather Evidence: Collect, organize, and prepare essential evidence, including medical records, police reports, and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation.
- Draft and Communicate: Draft precise correspondence and legal documents, and seamlessly coordinate with clients, witnesses, lawyers, physicians’ offices, and outside vendors.
- Collaborate with the Team: Provide invaluable administrative support, from detailed client notes and drafting case-specific documents to summarizing complex medical records.
Are You the Perfect Fit for this Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury Paralegal?
- Experience is Key: You bring 2-3 years of recent Workers’ Compensation and/or Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal experience from a law firm – this is a must-have!
- Education: You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. A Paralegal certificate is a plus, but not required if your experience speaks for itself!
- Tech-Savvy: You’re proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows, and various case management software.
- Super Skills: You possess excellent communication, top-notch organizational abilities, and a keen eye for detail. You multi-task, handle confidential information with the utmost discretion, and always eagerly learn!
