CLA has an immediate need for an experienced accounts receivable coordinator for a well-established law firm located in Columbia, SC. The accounts receivable coordinator is an integral part of the accounting department and is responsible for most of the routine accounts receivable payable tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to recognize patterns and inconsistencies and be comfortable with a high volume of data entry. Sample Duties:

  • Communicating with attorneys and clients
  • Process billing and hours
  • Enter unpaid invoices into the accounting system
  • Reconciling and analyzing accounts receivables accounts
  • Ensure proper coding for general ledger posting
  • Process high-volume invoice activity using an import file both from electronic files and others
  • Applying cash receipts
  • Contact vendors to discuss any errors or questions

Minimum and Additional Qualifications:

  • Two-year accounting degree
  • 2-3 years of prior experience in accounts receivable positions/accounting/bookkeeping
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Mastery of 10-key
