Insurance Defense Paralegal

CLA has an immediate need for an experienced insurance defense paralegal for a prominent law firm located in Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate must have 2-3 years of working as a paralegal in a defense law firm and be able to hit the ground running. The firm offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits packages to the ideal candidate.

Qualifications for Defense Litigation Paralegal:

• A paralegal certificate is preferred but required
• 2-3 years of defense litigation in a law firm as a paralegal
• Great attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows, and other legal case management software
• Proficient in ECF
• Have experience with billing and ABA task codes
• Experienced in summarizing medical records
